Warm oak-look walk-in closet in Hollywood

We built this warm oak-look walk-in closet for a Hollywood home in our shop in Oakland Park. Drawers, open shelves and hanging sections run along both sides, with lit cubbies above a drawer stack at the far wall. These photos show the finished cabinetry before the clothes went in.

Open shelves beside hanging space

The corner pairs open shelves with a hanging section and lighting built into the cabinetry. Vertical LED strips run along the uprights, while an LED rail sits above the hanging rod. The shelves divide the corner into smaller compartments beside the taller hanging space. The warm oak-look finish carries through both sections, keeping the layout visually connected as it turns the corner.

Drawers below lit cubbies

Two drawer stacks sit beneath open cubbies, with black bar pulls across the drawer fronts. Closed storage fills the lower sections, while the lit compartments above remain open and easy to see. The dark pulls stand out against the warm oak-look finish.

Slanted shelves for shoes

The shoe section has slanted shelves with black rails and lighting built into the side of the cabinetry. Each shelf angles forward, leaving its surface visible from the aisle. The rails repeat the black accents used on the drawer pulls elsewhere in the closet.
