Kitchen cabinetry from pantry shelves to islands

Our custom kitchen cabinets include base, wall and tall cabinets, islands, and oven cabinets and refrigerator surrounds sized around your appliances. We check those dimensions at the site measure. Coffee bars and walk-in pantry shelving can be part of the plan, with handleless fronts as an option.

Our part of the kitchen is the cabinetry, from building it to installing it. Countertops, plumbing, electrical work, appliances and wall finishes stay with your contractor or your own trades. We also take out the old cabinets if that work is listed in the estimate.

Measuring for older homes near Atlantic Avenue

For older bungalows and frame vernacular houses near Atlantic Avenue, we measure the room’s actual shape before building the cabinets. Older walls rarely meet at perfectly square corners. Building to those measurements lets us account for uneven walls and spaces that standard cabinet sizes may leave between boxes and the room.

Our laser measure records widths at three points, heights at the corners and diagonals. We also locate outlets, pipes and windows, and photograph every wall. Those details guide the drawings and fit.

Closets for Lake Ida and Tropic Isle homes

We build custom closets for Lake Ida and Tropic Isle homes, including walk-ins, reach-ins and wardrobes. Lake Ida’s homes range from small-lot duplexes to large estate homes, so the available space varies considerably.

We plan around what you store and the room you have. A drawer tower can gather smaller items; a shoe wall keeps pairs visible. Lit shelving and bench niches are also options.

Built-ins and wall panels for the rest of the house

Our built-in cabinetry includes bookshelves, media walls and banquettes, sized to the wall and surrounding openings. For an accent or headboard wall, wall panels include wood slat and fluted options.

Choose finishes in your own light

We bring physical samples to the site measure so you can choose finishes in your home’s light. Our main material is thermally fused laminate, or TFL, on 3/4" MDF with matching edges, including solid colors and light, warm or dark wood grains. We also build with wood veneer and painted fronts, including shaker doors. Hardware is soft-close.

Our team handles the work from drawings through installation, with everything built at our Oakland Park shop.

Downtown Delray Beach is about 24 miles north of our shop, approximately 40 minutes by car via I-95.

We also serve Boca Raton and Boynton Beach.

Questions

Questions about planning your cabinetry

Planning starts with photos and rough sizes, followed by a site measure if the initial design and price range fit.

Do you measure in Delray Beach?

Yes. Delray Beach is inside our service area, and the site measure is free. After measuring, we provide a written proposal with the exact price. What you approve is what gets built.

My house is in a historic district. Do you handle approvals?

Our work is interior cabinetry. For anything that shows from outside, we coordinate with your building management or HOA. Approvals remain the owner’s responsibility.

Can you build from my designer’s drawings?

Yes. We can build from your designer’s or architect’s drawings. A designer on our team can also draw the piece and prepare a 3D render.

What do I need to send first?

Send a few photos and rough sizes of the space. That is enough to start the free 3D render and price range before anyone comes out.
